Finally cover the 6th step in our simplified and automated rental journey.
It’s the sinews of war: making sure you collect your rent every month. But to avoid as much stress as possible, SherlockHomes takes care of everything, once again. But everything depends on whether your bank is on the list of partners for this service. If so, as soon as one of your rents has been credited to your bank account, you will receive a real-time alert by email and on your Sherlock console. If the tenant is late, the reminder will be sent automatically and you will be informed. If your bank is not one of our partners, all you have to do is confirm with one click whether or not the rent has been paid. If your payment is overdue, the reminder will be sent automatically.
Less stress thanks to an intelligent service that keeps you informed in real time about your rent payments
Grâce à the QR-facture, a géné and automated system, the tenant pays the bill very simply from their banking application.
The procedure differs depending on whether you have chosen one of our partner banks or not:
- If you have opened an account with one of our partner banks, you don’t have to do anything. As soon as the rent is paid, SherlockHomes will update your profile on the dashboard, stating that the rent has been paid.
- If your bank account is not with one of our partners, all you need to do is click on your profile to indicate whether or not you have collected your rent so that Sherlock can follow up your file.
No stress from your côt; in all cases, the reminder is done almost immediately. In the event of late or unpaid rent, if you have linked your account with our partner banks, Sherlock sends a reminder to the tenant on D+5 and D+10. You are kept informed in real time of developments and as soon as your rent is paid, an email is sent to you.
If your account is not linked to one of our partner banks, the reminder email will be sent automatically the moment you click on "unpaid rent" in your profile. When the rent has finally been paid, all you have to do is go back to your profile and, with one click, tick the "rent paid" box. In the event of long-term payment problems, Sherlock will help you manage more aggressive reminders and a &eventual formal notice of default from your tenant.
